The adidas YEEZY BOOST 380 “Alien Blue” originally surfaced as a mock-up at the top of 2020, but has since emerged during a few in-hand and on-foot imagery. And understandably so, as long as it’s scheduled to shut out the brand’s May release calendar.
Playing into the model’s extraterrestrial-like design details, the forthcoming “Alien Blue” style isolates the titular tone onto the semi-translucent midsole. Primeknit construction throughout the upper falls in-line with other propositions under the adidas YEEZY umbrella, namely the YEEZY 350 V2: understated reminder off-white and gray close during a seemingly-haphazard pattern, while lateral see-through strips boast a greenish, glow-in-the-dark finish. Outsoles partake within the top-half’s cream aesthetic, but enjoys a milky style that enhances the visible BOOST underneath well.
